this is serious work shawkash the colors is amazing and the shapes behind the logo is perfect i adored the shell and the arhcitectural statue great work mate
As I consider you my teacher, and yes you are, I will never have a suitable comment for such work, but atleast I'd like to say some few words. Shawkash was the first one who tought me about light, colors and shapes, and knowing that the word "Al Nour" is an arabic pronounciation for the meaning of "Light" !!
You guys will be able to understand what he means with this special piece of art.
Dear Shawkash,
Thanx for your rich, meaningful, and artistic work. Good luck ..
Good to see talented Egyptian designers...(ffffinally!! ) LOL!!! I am egyptian as well, and I gotta say your work is pretty impressive, I like this one the most .
Thank u for ur nice comment mr.Ahmad.
and for your question. If I am not wrong that you are asking about the dark area which contains the logo and the type, I guess I used a special version of Roman font which is used normally for Engraveing.. I used this font to develope the meanings of classic and experince. the italic font at down is Gramaond which is so smooth regarding to serif fonts.. I normally dislike to give a valueable, formal, and persegiouse design without useing serifs fonts.. Sanserif in general will not be suitable in such a design in my own opinion .. the sharpness u feel is not beloging to font itself, it just belong to the contrast of colors.. Dark brown and unexpeceted white.. any one in my place may use Dark brown or less dark brown but with a goldish ochr or rich gold to make them belong to the color scheme. I know this point very well, and I understand it. But may be I am crazier to not
avoide what is " supposed to happen " being like others in some points .. like this one.. white color is poor here.. may be.. but sometimes u have to be crazy because the logo color is still white, or because u want to make the werd and the logo in the highest contrast attract eye directley before any other element in the design. This is my opinion with respection. Thank u

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
